The QCGN’s Goldbloom Awards celebrate individuals who have dedicated their lives to ensuring English-speaking Quebec remains a vibrant community within Quebec and Canada. The Young Quebecers Leading the Way Award recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of English-speaking Quebecers under the age of 30.

2019 Community Awards
The QCGN congratulates the 2019 winners of our Goldbloom Award: Joan Fraser, Josh Freed and Martin Murphy, as well as the winner of our Young Quebecers Leading the Way Award, Joshua Arless. The 11th Annual Community Leadership Awards gala was emceed by Global Montreal reporter Tim Sargeant.
The 10th Anniversary of the QCGN’s Community Awards ceremony was emceed by CBC Montreal anchor Sean Henry and entertainment was provided by the comedic duo Bowser and Blue. The QCGN congratulates the 2018 winners of our Goldbloom Award Olga Melikoff, Murielle Parkes and John Rae, as well as the winner of our Young Quebecers Leading the Way Award, Hayley Campbell.
The ninth edition of the QCGN’s Community Awards ceremony was emceed by CTV Montreal lead anchor Mutsumi Takahashi. We congratulate the 2017 winners of the Goldbloom Award Clifford Lincoln, James Carter, Earl de la Peralle and Sid Stevens, as well as the winner of our Young Quebecers Leading the Way Award, Claudia Di Iorio.
The 2016 Community Awards ceremony was emceed by Global Montreal news anchor Elysia Bryan-Baynes. We congratulate the winners of the eighth edition of the Goldbloom Award Gerald Cutting, Miriam Green and Oliver Jones, as well as the winner of our Young Quebecers Leading the Way Award, Dafina Savic.
The seventh edition of the Community Awards Ceremony was emceed by Sonali Karnick, host of CBC’s Radio’s All in a weekend. Winners of the 2015 Goldbloom award were the duo of Gary Briand and Lynden Bechervaise, as well as Fatiha Gatre Guemiri, and Royal Orr. The winner of our Young Quebecers Leading the Way award was Alexander Gordon.
The 2014 Goldbloom Award ceremony was emceed by CTV News Montreal anchor Mutsumi Takahashi. Winners of the sixth edition of our community service award included Eric Maldoff, James Hughes, and Marjorie Sharpe.
The fifth edition of the Goldbloom Awards was emceed by Camille Ross and Richard Dagenais from Global Montreal. Kudos to the comedic duo Bowser and Blue for a brilliant performance. Our 2013 winners were Robina Goodwin, Judy Martin and Kevin Tierney.
Emceed by CBC Montreal news anchors Debra Arbec and Andrew Chang, the fourth edition of the Goldbloom Award Ceremony took place on October 18 at Montreal’s St. James Club. Laureates of the 2012 awards included David Angus, Gretta Chambers and Father John Walsh.
The third edition of the Goldbloom Awards, which took place at Montreal’s St. James Club, was emceed by Rob Lurie of CTV News. The winners of the 2011 Goldbloom Awards were Joan Ivory, Gemma Raeburn-Baynes, and Aline Visser.
Emceed by Jamie Orchard of Global Television, the ceremony for the 2010 Goldbloom Awards was held at the Sacred Heart School of Montreal on October 22. The winners of the second annual awards were Alex K. Paterson, Elsa Bolam and Richard Walling.
With Bernard St-Laurent of CBC Quebec as the master of ceremonies, the inaugural Goldbloom Awards ceremony was held in Gatineau during the kickoff of celebrations for the QCGN’s 15th anniversary in 2009. Our laureates were Casper Bloom, Marjorie Goodfellow and Jack Jedwab.
