Save the date: Goldbloom Awards ceremony to be held at venerable St. James Club on October 22

Just two more weeks: Deadline for Goldbloom Award nominations fast approaching (Deadline: August 19)

On October 22, 2011, the QCGN will celebrate a handful of exceptional individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the vitality of Quebec’s English-speaking Community during the third annual ceremony for QCGN’s Sheila and Victor Goldbloom Distinguished Community Service Awards. The ceremony will be held at the venerable St. James Club in Montreal, an institution of the English-speaking community of Quebec.

There are still two weeks left to nominate individuals for this prestigious community service award that rewards individual who have demonstrated leadership and commitment as a volunteer or as a professional in their chosen field of endeavour. Contributions can be in any and all regions of Quebec and in any field from business to academia; from youth to seniors; from health and social services to arts and culture; and any other area such as heritage, the environment and sports.
