Banding together – local English groups plan for future

English groups in Quebec have an organization looking out for them as a community, the Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN).  QCGN is celebrating 15 years of work in bringing English groups together.  The group met amid a county-wide discussion about the Official Languages Act which is now 40 years old.  Friday September 11 and September 12, these groups met for the QCGN convention in Hull. During the lunch meeting, English organizers from across Quebec heard from local politicians and the Commissioner of Official Languages, Graham Fraser.
