As part of its Roadmap for Canada's Linguistic Duality 2008-2013: Acting for the Future, the government of Canada has established the Linguistic Rights Support Program which seeks to promote awareness of constitutional language rights through public education, to offer access to alternative dispute settlement methods so as to reach agreement out of court, and to support litigation that helps advance and clarify constitutional linguistic rights when test cases are involved and mediation has failed. To promote a better understanding of the program, the QCGN has partnered with the LRSP to commission an article and three Public Service Announcements (see below) to explain the program.
